as LOCAL 7 WTVW and WEHT Local Meteorologist Ron Rhodes leads students
in this double elimination
contest of knowledge and quick recall. The joint venture by Oakland City
University and LOCAL 7 WTVW encourages learning and gives positive
academic recognition to participating schools and their students.
Oakland City University will award a total of ten (10)
scholarships, valued at more than half a million dollars, to members of
the winning and runner-up teams in the championship match next spring.
Match pairings for the teams were determined in a random drawing from among the contest entries. All matches will be pre-recorded in the Cornwell-Reed Center on the campus of Oakland City University. Taping dates, along with other helpful information for the competing teams, can be found in the Things You Should Know tab in the Resource Center located on this page.
