STARS – Success Tracks for Adults Returning to School

In response to concerns from area leaders regarding the lack of college degrees within the available workforce pool, Brescia University sought ways to expand access to tri-state adults who have begun college but not completed it. Brescia has had a history for more than 20 years of educating the adult learner. The STARS program is an expanded and enhanced method of delivery and accessibility.

The STARS program will offer a variety of ways to achieve a bachelor’s or associate’s degree, a certificate or Master’s degree. The program will be characterized by convenience, affordability, program excellence and an adult-friendly campus environment so as to meet the unique needs of the non-traditional student.

Those entering the STARS program will be able to take advantage of Brescia’s new online degree completion programs in theology and in Social Work, which will be the first online BSW degree completion program in the country.

Enrollment Underway at Brescia University for New MBA Program

Brescia University is now accepting applications for their new Masters in Business Administration (MBA). Beginning in August, the first cohort of the MBA program will enter the University.

 
The new 15-month accelerated MBA program is designed specifically for the professional who has experience, is time-conscious, shows leadership potential and possesses strong quantitative skills. Through completing the MBA program, professionals will acquire depth and fluency in business concepts in relation to their technical skills which will prepare them for larger leadership roles.

 
The MBA program consists of 10 three-credit hour courses. The first cohort in the program will begin August 9, 2008, with an August 1 deadline to enroll. The next cohort will begin in January 2009.
