Reported by: Web Producer Wednesday, Nov 18, 2009 @11:04am CST Students in the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation will soon get the option to join a law academy. The program called the Randall T. Shepard Academy for Law and Social Justice will integrate social studies and English curriculums for juniors and seniors. The academy will provide a wide variety of opportunities for students in the community and throughout the state. It's designed to develop critical analysis in students to prepare them for studies relating to law, social justice, American policy and social values. During the academy students will be earning college credits at the University of Southern Indiana. The program will be offered to incoming juniors in the fall of 2010.
