Some call it "the most wonderful time of the year", but for many it may be the most stressful and the most expensive. People are making sacrifices -- and it may include cutting back on annual gifts to charity., but some charity organizers are staying positive.
Alma Randolph of the Alma Randolph Charitable Foundation says she hopes this year's Christmas concert at the Riverpark Center makes up for the drop in donations from the annual Share the Vision dinner. At first she wasn't optimistic, baut then she learned 700 tickets had already sold for this Sunday's event.
She says it seems larger corporations may not be giving as much but smaller donations like the price of a concert ticket are still strong.
