Man Accused In Squirrel Deaths

(Chicago) -- A man from west suburban Berwyn is accused of catching squirrels and letting them die.
The 72-year-old man, whose name has not been released, is suspected of trapping the animals in his yard and then leaving them to die without giving them food or water.
Berwyn Police confiscated two animal traps from the man who has been issued a ticket for keeping wild animals and cruelty to animals.
He is due in court on August 14th.
