K-9 units appear to have stopped a suspect from breaking into an Evansville high school.
Harrison High School liaison officer Jeff Worthington says someone was trying to break into the school early Wednesday morning.
He says the suspect broke out windows trying to get in.
Police were already in the area due to another reported break-in at a nearby church and when the suspect heard law enforcement enter the building, whoever it was ran away.
Worthington says so far it doesn't look like the suspect took anything, but there was some damage to the building.
