Sports Anchor Doug Kufner is living a dream and he owes his success to his parents. Ever since he can remember they told him to dream big, work hard and anything is possible..... Doug comes to the Tri-State from neighboring Southern Illinois, where he spent the last two and a half years as a Sports Reporter for ABC affiliate WSIL.

During his time in Carbondale, Doug was a photographer as the Salukis made a trip to Oklahoma City for the 2005 NCAA Tournament. He also reported from the 2005 NCAA Softball Regionals and the NCAA 1-AA Football Quarterfinals.

Doug has also worked at WTVF in Nashville, Tennessee and part-time at WCPO in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is single and resides on Evansville's east side. Doug spends his time away from Fox 7, working out, hanging out with friends, volunteering and exploring his new hometown. If you see him out and about stop by and say hi. Doug's always looking for story ideas. He looks forward to covering your favorite team and all of the great athletes here in the Tri-State.
