A wrongful death lawsuit has been filed in connection with a March 24th accident that killed an Indiana Department of Transportation employee. Mark Shepardson died in the incident. Police say he was operating a truck with a large directional sign on I-164 when another driver, William Hurt, ran into the back of his truck. A release from the Gerling Law office says Shepardson's estate has filed the suit against Hurt and against Williams Transport. Hurt also faces criminal charges in the matter.
