Reported by: Web Producer Friday, Sep 11, 2009 @04:55pm CDT Several customers at a Warrick County bank are victims of a rip off that apparently stretches from Indiana to the east coast and back to Chicago. Investigators say 14 customers of People's Trust and Savings Bank in Boonville had their debit card accounts broken into. Whoever broke into the accounts took thousands of dollars. 24 additional accounts were compromised, but officials were able to stop the transactions before the customers lost any money. Warrick County Sheriff's Deputies are quick to point out it was an out of town credit card company whose security was compromised, not the banks. Deputies say they don't have any suspects in the case.
