Kurt Vonnegut Dies

Vonnegut2007-04-12-1176424369.jpgThe Indianapolis born writer Wednesday night. Vonnegut was a world war two vet and former prisoner of war. He returned to the US to write best selling works of fiction that satirized war and encouraged readers to think for themselves. Students say his works remain relevant today... and will live on into the future. UE student Kirsten Hostetler was finishing an independent study on Vonnegut when she heard of his death. Vonnegut is best known for his novels "Slaughter House Five" and "Breakfast of Champions". He continued writing late into his life... publishing a work of essays recently which criticized the iraq war.
