breaking news
Holocaust survivor George Salton is paying Evansville a visit this week, telling his amazing story of survival.
Salton was only 11 when the Nazis invaded his hometown in Poland. He was 14 when his family was forced into a concentration camp. He lost his entire family and was one of only a handful from his hometown to survive.
Now, he lives in Florida and likes to play golf, but instead of enjoying retirement, he travels and tells his story.
Salton will be in the area until Sunday, giving several more talks in honor of Holocaust Remembrance Month.
