Illinois Sets Up Hotline for Flood Victims

The state of Illinois set up a toll-free hotline to help flood victims with the recovery process. The new toll-free phone number is 1-866-848-2067. The call center will be staffed by employees from state agencies that offer recovery guidance or assistance programs. 24 counties were declared state disaster areas due to flooding, including Lawrence County. So far, theres been no federal declaration for the affected Illinois counties.
