Tristate stylists got a hair-raising opportunity to rub scissors with a man who tames the manes of the famous. Juan Juan cuts hair in Beverly Hills, but Tuesday morning he showed off his talents on Shari Abshire at Waleeds International Hair Design and Spa. He came to Evansville as part of a teaching partnership with Waleed and picked Shari randomly to receive a Hollywood do in the tristate. Juans easy-to-care-for styles have turned a lot of famous heads over the years. He’s done maybe 100 celebrities for 30 years, from Mariah Carey, John Travolta to even Marlon Brando. Waleed makes several trips to Beverly Hills each year to teach and learn new styling techniques. This was Juans first visit to Evansville. He says he enjoyed the scenery and the friendly people.
