Phoenix, Las Vegas Top List Of "Sweatiest Cities"
(Cincinnati, OH) -- Forget the notion of a "dry heat" in the desert.
Old Spice deodorant is celebrating the start of summer by listing the sweatiest cities in America, ranking Phoenix at the top, followed by Las Vegas, Tallahassee, Tucson, and Memphis.
The company notes the average temperature for Phoenix from June through August last year was 95-point-one degrees, with the average resident in the Valley of the Sun producing more than 26-ounces of sweat per hour.
However, due to the low humidity, Arizona residents dont feel the effects as much as those in areas like New Orleans and Miami, where the humid air doesnt allow for quick evaporation of perspiration.
The least-sweatiest city of the 100 ranked is San Francisco with an average summertime temperature of 63-point-five degrees.
