Many business owners, along with state Senator Dorsey Ridley, are urging Governor Ernie Fletcher to step in and help. Theyre hoping to gain enough support to stop a complete closure of the bridges north side. The Department of Highways maintains that lane closure is unavoidable. Theyre still obtaining information regarding projected delays and say if plans change, they will make an annoucement.
