Two people are facing numerous charges after a high speed chase that went through two southern Indiana counties.
Police say 33 year old Darby Hape and his girlfriend, Jerri Curtis, tried to outrun them Thursday by going through back roads in Pike and Gibson counties.
The chase reached speeds of 100 miles an hour.
It ended when Hapes car got stuck in flood waters.
Police say the car was stolen from Crawford County.
Hape had been wanted for several weeks for escaping from a Jasper police officer.
