The new AT&T call center will be located at the former east side Sams Club.
City officials say the company bought the empty retail store at 5101 Vogel road for more than $3.5 million.
The sale was the result of negotiations involving Woodward Realty, AT&T and the Mayors office.
The facility will employ more than 500 workers with an annual payroll of $13 million.
