Cribs Recalled By Stanley Furniture
(Washington, DC) -- Some 12-hundred 2nd Nature Built to Grow cribs are being recalled by Stanley Furniture for posing a possible entrapment hazard to infants.
According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the cribs failed federal safety standards.
The agency also says when the mattress support in the cribs is placed in a middle setting, the area between the mattress and crib can be too wide.
The beds have the model number 353-14-220 and retailed for about 11-hundred-dollars.
They were sold at department and furniture stores from March 2006 through December 2007.
The CPSC is advising consumers who have the beds to discontinue using the middle setting of the crib.
