Mt. Carmel Stabbing

A Mt. Carmel man has been arrested for allegedly stabbing his girlfriend in the back several times while she was sleeping. Police were called out the 409 East 6th St. early Thursday morning. They say 51 year old Robert Garrison allegedly stabbed Pamela Webb six times with a serrated kitchen knife. Webb was reportedly taken to Wabash General hospital in Mt. Carmel, then flown by helicopter to Deaconess hospital. This morning she was listed in critical condition.
