State Police Busy During Thunder

News Release: From: Indiana State Police State Police keep busy during Evansville Thunder on the Ohio Vanderburgh County - With thousands of people visiting the downtown area during the Evansville Thunder on the Ohio, Indiana State Police increased patrols in attempt to keep area roadways safe. Lieutenant Dennis Marshall, Commander of the Evansville District, utilized 17 troopers and their unmarked Ford Mustangs to target aggressive and dangerous drivers along I-64, I-164, U.S. 41 and the Lloyd Expressway. During the three day period, troopers issued 819 traffic tickets, most of those violations being for speeding. “We will continue to increase our patrols throughout this holiday weekend,” said Marshall.
