Military Family Act Passes

Military families in Indiana will now get to spend more time with their loved ones prior to their deployment. The military family act which was authored by State Representative Dennis Avery from Evansville has been signed by the Governor. It would allow the spouse and immediate family members of an active duty soldier to take up to 10-days of unpaid leave from their job.
