This week FOX 7 travels to Lawrenceville, Illinois to take a look at a property neighbors call their own life-size "tree house". A tree apparently fell on the roof of an abandoned house last spring and wasnt removed until last November. In addition to parts of the tree scattered across the front yard, theres also a gaping hole in the roof. Neighbor Dann Norton says, "Its got a big hole in the roof. you can see the eaves and the chimney and Im honestly not sure how it stays standing." But thats not all - a burned out shed sits in the back of the property. Norton says, "A couple of years ago, when a family was still living there the shed caught fire and burned out. Well, the shell of the burned shed is still sitting there and has for about two or three years." We spoke to the owner of the house who says hes spent months trying to find someone to tear the house down. He actually asked FOX 7 to help him find a demolition company that can do it without damaging the property next door. We want you to tell us about any Tri-State eyesores in your neighborhood.
