An Evansville community group is trying to ensure historic sections of the city arent forgotten.
The Preservation Alliance of Evansville held its annual luncheon Saturday afternoon.
The group has been in existence for the last thirty-two years.
The afternoons hot topic was highlighting the role of the arts in helping revitalize the city.
The group handed out awards and also named their "2007 Top Ten Endangered Properties" list.
Preservation Alliance member Dennis Au says, "There have been one or two buildings on the list all of these years, but were still holding vigilance. Its an overwhelming task - if we just have one, two, or three successes a year, well thats good."
Some of the properties on the list include the historic Henry Cook House on Fulton Avenue and the downtown Greyhound bus station.
