A 17 year old boy is struck by a van on Covert and 41 Saturday then rushed to a hospital.
The boy, whose name has not been released, was crossing US 41, when he was struck by a Dodge van.
He was thrown about 60 feet from his bike.
Police say the driver of the van, Gary Titzer had the right of way, and was not at fault, however had a smell of alcohol on his breath and was taken into custody.
Titzer has been charged with a DUI
Authorities wouldnt say what hospital the teen as taken to, but that he did suffer serious bodily injury.
