A woman suffered critical injuries in a head-on collison with a semi in Vanderburgh county.
It happened around 12:30 Monday near the intersection of Highway 57 and Old Highway 57.
Sheriffs deputies say one car was stopped on 57, preparing to make a turn when a second car drove around the first.
A semi driven by Ronnie Linton of Florida was headed south on 57 and hit the car that had pulled out to pass.
The driver of the car had to be cut out of her vehicle and air-lifted to St. Marys Medical Center with critical injuries.
Her name has not been released.
