Messy yards, abandoned homes, and burned out buildings. All month long in our special report "Tri-State Eyesores", weve been taking a closer look at rundown properties to try and spark some changes. This week we take a look at a Newburgh home damaged during the November 2005 tornado...and it still sits unfixed. Neighbors say the house has sat vacant for three years. They say patches on the roof and the side of the house just went up, before that, the house was open to the elements for more than a year. Neighbor Ernie Nolan says, "On the inside with the roof leaking, drywall, and mold. All kinds of animals were living in there, some nice big rats and cats." FOX 7 found a "For Sale" sign in the front yard, neighbors say it went up earlier this week. We tried to contact the Realtor, but our calls were not returned.
