Former Teacher In Trouble

A former teacher and coach in the Carmi-White County school system is in trouble with the law. Jason Francis faces charges of criminal sexual abuse and aggravated assault for allegedly having inappropriate sexual contact with a student. Francis resigned his position with the school in April -- and he turned himself in over the weekend. His first court appearance is scheduled for Tuesday.
