Some of you got a break from the three dollars-plus weve been paying for a gallon of gasoline for the last several weeks... Sams club on north Burkhardt Road in Evansville was selling regular unleaded for $2.94 this afternoon. As you can see, lots of people took advantage of it. Its no wonder. The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded was $3:20 this week. If youve seen other stations that have dipped below 3 dollars, let us know and well pass it along.
