Fatal Truck Accident Update

An autopsy performed on the man killed when his 18-wheeler crashed into Pigeon Creek says he died from suffocation. Deputies say 31-year-old John Adams Allen from McLeansboro, Illinois died yesterday when the truck he was driving veered off the northbound lane of I-164 and crashed into Pigeon Creek. Deputies say Allen was killed instantly. Investigators are looking into what caused the accident.
