A clerk locks herself in a back room during an attempted robbery of a Kangaroo Express.
It happened just before 3 Friday morning.
According to the Henderson County Sheriffs office, the suspect entered the Corydon convenience store after breaking the glass out of the front door. Police say the clerk confronted the suspect then retreated to a back room...locking herself in and calling 9-1-1.
The clerk says the suspect was approximately 5 foot 7, thin, wearing a mask and a white shirt with a blue and red design.
She was unable though to describe what type of weapon he held in his hand.
Nothing was taken from the store.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
