Jewel Court Fire

Arson may have been the cause of a house fire on Jewel Court early this morning.
Evansville firefighters responded to the blaze just before 3:00am
One of the residents, whose name has not been released, awoke to the smoke alarm.
He found the fire coming from his young daughters bedroom.
He was able to get his daughter, and his seven year old son out of the house unharmed.
A 27 year old female was also inside the house, but her connection to the family or fire is unknown at this time.
Police say circumstances surrounding the fire are suspicious.
