Sheriffs deputies say 42 year old Steven Durnil of Washington was headed southbound on state route 257 around 9 this morning.
He was driving a 2006 pickup truck.
Police say Durnil drove into the median and hit the side of a semitruck driven by Morris Nowaskie of Vincennes.
Deputies say Durnil was not wearing his seatbelt and was ejected from his truck.
Durnil was Air-Evaced to St. Marys Medical Center where he died around 1 this afternoon.
Nowaskie was taken to Daviess Community Hospital and released.
