Horse Gunned Down in Henderson Co.

Another case of animal abuse in the has pet owners in Henderson on edge. Colechief the horse was shot to death as he grazed in this pasture in Henderson County. His owner says she cant understand why anyone would want to kill one of her horses. Tammy Reynolds says all of them are friendly, and neighbors who live along the property line often feed them. Investigators with the Henderson Sheriffs Department are looking in to the case. The Humane Society is also involved. Tammy Reynolds is putting up $500 of her own money as a reward for information leading to the arrest of the shooter. A second investigation is underway over a gunned down pet in Henderson as well. 59 year old Donald Nunn reportedly admitted to shooting his neighbors dog with a rifle. The collies owner had not seen the animal in over a week. She later found it shot to death behind her house. Animal Control officers were taking pictures of the dog when Nunn reportedly confessed to killing it. Investigators say he was on his balcony, and shot the dog from long range. Hes been charged with animal cruelty.
