An Evansville woman was arrested after she allegedly starved two dogs to death.
Angela Casteell is charged with two counts of animal cruelty.
Police say Casteell left two dogs to starve to death in her basement.
According to published reports the superintendent of animal control, said his investigators removed one of the dead dogs from the basement of Casteel's rental home on May 30th but he did not pursue a criminal case against her.
When the second dog was found dead in the basement Wednesday, animal control turned the matter over to Evansville Police.
Castell was jailed on a $2000 dollar bond
