The Evansville Police Department promoted two officers to the rank of Sergaent today. Police Chief Brad Hill presented Sergaent badges to officers David Bonenberger and David Barron in a ceremony at The Centre. Barron is a 15-year veteran of the police department, while Bonenberger has been on the force for 11 years. They say they are ready for the job. Both seargents were assigned to second shift in the south sector
