Evansville Man Arrested after Police Chase

An Evansville man lead police on a high speed chase Monday and crashed near the Martin Luther King Street exit on the Lloyd Expressway.
Police arrested 26 year old Matthew Greathouse after he crashed- and even though the suspect is in the hospital tonight- hes facing a list of charges.
It all started when somebody called 9-1-1 to say Greathouse hit several vechiles on Monroe Avenue. Police then got reports he was driving through peoples yards on Alvord Boulevard.
They finally caught up with the driver of this Maroon Bretta on the Lloyd in front of Roberts Stadium.
Police say they pursued him to the Martin Luther King exit where he hit this silver sebring and crashed. Police say he wasnt ready to go to jail.
Police say he will face a long list of charges. The driver of the Sebring was also taken to the hospital. No name or conditions have been released.
