Burn Ban

Theres no more burning allowed in Spencer County.
The county commissioners passed a resolution requesting all residents to stop all activites that create a fire hazard including open burns or throwing matches, ashes or any burning materials from vehicles.
They say the fire department has responded to several brush and wildfire calls in the last few weeks.
The ban lasts until June 25th.
