A Pike County judge followed the terms of Nick Harbisons plea deal Friday, sentencing him to 3 life terms plus 50 years for 3 counts of murder and one count of attempted murder. Harbison plead guilty to the July 17, 2006 slayings of 18 year old Keela Lynch, 17 year old Rebekah Acorn and 21 year old Daniel Spencer White. Harbison also shot and stabbed Cameron White, but he survived and called for help on his cell phone. Rescuers found White and the victims in a remote Pike County cornfield. The victims families had a chance to address Harbison in court. They all agree that theyd like to see him put to death, but did not want to wait for the judicial system to bring closure to the case. Instead, they felt three life sentences plus 50 years was adequate.
