Illinois police now have a new tool to combat crime.
Governor Rod Blavojevich has announced the launch of a new meth manufacturing registry, that gives law enforcement the opportunity to view the names of offenders who have been convicted of making the drug.
The registry contains the name, birth-date, offense and conviction date, as well as where the offense took place.
The database will be updated daily
