New Laws in Kentucky

About 100 new laws will go into effect Tuesday in Kentucky.
One of those laws increases the speed limit on Kentucky interstates to 70 miles per hour.
But dont put the pedal to the metal yet.
The increase will *not* happen until new speed limit signs are up -- which likely will not take place until after the 4th of July.
One change that *will* take effect immediately is a minimum wage increase.
The commonwealths minimum wage will go from 5-15 to 5-85 an hour.
Also effective Tuesday -- mothers who are breast feeding can be excused from jury duty.
