A more than 30-year old Evansville icon has officially closed. But nostalgic patrons of Joeys Bar and Grill got the chance to take a piece of Joeys home with them. A public auction held today allowed folks to buy memorabilia, restaurant equipment, and beer and liquor advertisements. The popular establishment located at the corner of Franklin and Oakley street is scheduled for demolition---all in the name of progress.
