Owensboro Apartment Fire

The Owensboro fire department think a cigarette may be the cause of a fire at an apartment complex.
Fire officials say the early morning fire on Monday caused extensive water damage to the first four floors of the Roosevelt House II.
Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze.
There was no structural damage
But officials say the main problem was water from the sprinklers pouring down into the lower floors of the six-story structure.
No injuries were reported.
