Water running through Yellow Creek Park in Owensboro is safe for recreational use.
Last week the Department of Environmental Protection collected samples from four locations.
Earlier this month, water tests conducted by a member of the Sierra club alleged that levels of E-coli were so high they couldnt be measured.
But, today Ed Carroll from the Kentucky Division of water told FOX 7 his tests showed no illegal source of discharge in the Yellow Creek.
He says the creek is within desired limits for recreational use.
