Thursday marked a very special reunion for an Evansville woman. Two months ago Kristena Bowers came to the rescue when a mother and her two children were hit by a car while crossing the street at the intersection of Fulton and Columbia. Thursday she was reunited with one of the victims. The first time Bowers ever laid eyes on Madison Harms, 6, te little girl was unconscious and lying in the middle of the street. Less than two months later, Madison is back on her feet and Thursday she had a chance to thank the woman whose quick thinking may have saved her life. Bowers says, "I instantly did what I was trained to do. I jumped out of the car, first I checked David, then the mom, once I got to Madison I wasnt leaving her side." Bowers actions more than likely saved Madisons life that day, and she knew what to do because of training shed received from the Red Cross. Madison is still going through some physical therapy, but her grandmother says shes doing fine. Madisons brother is still in the hospital. Their mother died the day of the accident.
