Growing Memorial for Area Soldier

Friends and family of an Evansville Soldier are honoring their hero with a growing memorial
21 year old Will Powell-kerchief was killed last week in Iraq.
The impact the soldier made on the world can be seen outside his parents home.
Friends are honoring his memory with this memorial.
Powell-Kerchief died while manning an observation post north of Baghdad.
He was serving with the 9th Infantry And had been in Iraq since April.
He was an active member of the First Christian Church Youth Group in downtown Evansville.
His family says Powell-Kerchiefs body is in Delaware right now.
