The body of a fallen Tri-State soldier is back home in Evansville.
Army Private 1st-Class Will Powell-Kerchief was killed last week in Iraq.
Thursday morning, a charter plane brought his body back home.
Hundreds of people came out to Tri-State Aero to show their support and pay their respects.
Trey Clark was one of the many supporters, he says, "Its a sad thing, but the young man knew the risks and he was willing to stand up for our country and died valiantly, he died doing what he wanted to do. you cant ask for more than that."
Visitation for Kerchief will be held Friday from Noon - 9pm at Browning Funeral Home.
Another visitation follows on Saturday from 9-11am at Crossroads Christian Church in Newburgh.
Funeral Services begin at 11, also at Crossroads.
Kerchief will be buried with full military honors at Sunset Memorial Park.
