Rescued Horses Trainer

Neglected and abused horses once near death are now making major strides.
Indiana Horse Rescue took possession of more than 60 Gibson county horses in may after their owner was arrested for abuse.
Since then theyve received the necessary food and care to bring them back to health.
Horse trainer Dennis Taylor is now working with healthiest horses to reverse the psychological damage.
He travels three hours to Owensville on weekends training the horses free of charge.
He says they must first build a bond and then we try to work the system through to get them to calm down build confidence and relax.
The ultimate goal he says though is to get the horses into good homes.
In just one month Taylor has successfully trained four horses that have now been adopted.
Indiana Horse Rescue is still in need of donations to care for the 55 animals that are left.
