breaking news
Toys R Us joined the Chinese toy recall parade Thursday, sending out notice that 27,000 art sets may contain lead paint. The scare over lead paint in children's toys has parents searching for a way to keep their kids safe without worrying about throwing away their favorite play things.
A company called Homax is marketing a simple test kit that could give many of those worried moms and dads a much needed piece of mind. Their Lead Check test kit sells for about $6 at most hardware and home improvement stores, and provides a simple, 30 second test that can give the user a definitive answer about lead paint.
