Cribs Recalled

A New York-based company is recalling about 400 cribs. The two models of the Netto Collection cribs being recalled are "Moderne" and "Loft." The CPSC warns that the crib slats can separate from the side rails. This poses an entrapment and strangulation risk to young children. The cribs, made in Poland, were sold in juvenile furniture stores between October 2003 and June 2005 for about $1350. Only crib numbers NC-137 and NC-140, plus date codes 9/03 and 02/04, are part of the recall. Consumers can contact Netto Collection at (866)996-3886 or www.nettocollection.com for new side rails.
