Almost one year later - the man police say was involved in a Evansville school bus accident has been arrested and also has a different name. Dubois county police stopped who they thought was Gabino Gonzalez for a traffic violation.
Turns out his name is Jose Rodriguez.
The Evansville police notified them he was wanted in the area. In October 2006 Rodriguez was taken to St. Mary's hospital after being involved in a school bus accident at Shadywood and Sweetser avenues.
He was admitted to the hospital for head trauma, but left before police arrested him.
Rodriguez was booked in the Vanderburgh county jail on a long list of charges.
